2 Days until take off

Howdy! Welcome to my blog for my upcoming year of service with NET Ministries. I leave College Station in 2 days and I am very excited to start my adventure. Though my mind screams of excitement, my stomach is producing butterflies that seem like the size of elephants. I am so thankful to my friends, family, and the St. Thomas Aquinas Community for supporting me with their prayers and donations for this upcoming year. Hopefully through this blog and prayer, I will be able to bring you along on my journey. During the 5 weeks of training, I will not be able to update this very much, but in mid September, I hope to keep you updated with stories, pictures, and how God has been working in my life on NET. Know that I will be praying for you and will miss Aggieland so much!

And now, back to packing…. Come Holy Spirit!

Finally was able to connect to site. It was wonderful to hear your voice last night. You sound very happy and excited. What a great traveling schedule you have . Your experience of travel , host families, meeting the youth in all of the areas in the US Wow!! What a great undertaking and education you will experience. Know that we are praying for you each day. I am headed for St. Judes in a few minutes for Mass and will offer the mass for you and your team. May God continue to bless you and keep all of you safe and well in your travels. I am soooo proud of you and the work you are doing. I know your Papa is smiling with great pride and is with you all of the way!!! Love you Gramma
